Strongly influenced
by
his

using gemstones that he has carefully
selected while

natural qualities present in Super Seven crystals and a love for
Persian Turquoise. Enjoying his livelihood with an engaging

Stones are my passion. I get excited over different
stones, the inclusions they have, their shape, their very uniqueness.
I enjoy going to different mines overseas and bring back to North
America the unique stones that I have found. Hunting down stones
ignites in me a feeling of excitement and I have not yet tired of
exploring. I know first hand that the stones I bring home are
quality pieces, and it is important to me to be able to assure
people that the stone they are receiving is quality. While
traveling I also attend shows to stay updated. I have participated
in shows in Germany, Thailand, Brazil, Turkey and the U.S and each
experience has influenced in some fashion my current design work.
I began back home as a goldsmith after studying tool and dye making in
high school and began dealing with gemstones when I moved to Canada to
complete my professional training as a certified gemologist.
My
inspiration?- Definitely natural stones, I love natural stones that
haven't been treated, and as a result I try to deal with natural stones
as much as I can. Most of my designs are created while I am
working on the wax, and as the inspiration comes. I don't tend to work
with sketches or drawings but let myself be carried away. My
inspiration comes from my life, or from the stone, it's colour and
shape.
I like working on complicated pieces that challenge me and
I prefer not to use solder but find a way to attach things without.
Whether it is a simple or an involved creation I want people to feel
special, loved, that the jewellery is a real gift. All of my
energy goes into the piece and I hope that people are able to feel the
energy and love coming from the piece I have made for them.
